Professional Genealogist Sara Gredler is a Certified Genealogist® and Accredited Genealogist® in the Mid Atlantic region and has over 25 years experience in historic research. She has a Certificate in Irish Studies, a MS in Historic Preservation, and BAs in History and Classical Studies.
Sara has taken courses at multiple genealogical institutes (SLIG, GRIP, Gen-Fed, MAAGI, and IGHR) and has also taught a course on report writing for the Applied Genealogy Institute (AppGen) . She has spoken at the local, state, regional, and national level on a variety of topics. She mentors genealogists at every level of experience in the "Mastering Genealogical Proof" study groups under the ProGen umbrella.
She previously served on the Board of Directors of the National Genealogical Society (2022-2024 term). She serves the Board for Certification of Genealogists for their social media. She is also a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, the New York Genealogical & Biographical Society, and the New England Historical Society.
